Hello to all of the Native people in Canada. My name is Chief Peter D. Quaw and I am the speaker for Mother Earth’s Council. Mother Earths Council is developed to provide positive change for all native people in Canada and specifically, to help heal every native person in Canada.

 

Secondly, Mother Earths Councils other mandate is to begin the process of looking after Mother Earth. Our elders  talked to us about the purpose of the “red people” when they are living on the planet Earth? Did they inform you that we, all Native people in Canada,s primary purpose is to look after and nurture Mother Earth for the generations yet to come?

There has been much discussion happening across Canada today in regards to native RECONCILIATION with Canada.  The Mother Earth's Council see's that reconciliation cannot be possible until all of our native people in this country Canada, are healed from the impacts created by the Indian Act. Once we begin the process of healing, and recover our senses and identity, then perhaps we can sit down and discuss reconciliation.

The Mother Earth's Council view on healing is that it must be on a holistic basis  where each individual native person has a blueprint to training and education, healing social aspects,  a full time well paid job,  and above all, Spirituality and love looking after Mother Earth.

Take a look at your life, take a look at your community and take a look at native communities throughout Canada. All of this will remain the same 20 years from now and who is looking after each native individual throughout Canada. Your lives will be disrupted every 2 - 4 years when under the Indian Act of Canada, you must elect a new council in and they will continue what the last council did to help you. Did they help you? They cannot because their focus is on programs and not with the individual members. 

 

All of our leaders are immersed in a fight where Canada controls all the cards and keeps us divided where we cannot begin to change our lives.

You as an individual can change how we live our lives today, tomorrow, and into your future. Our belief is that the creator gave each native person in Canada, the ability to be your own Creator, yet not possible as there is no entity available that will give you, as an individual, that opportunity.

 

We as Mother Earth's Council now give you that opportunity to change from an Indian Act way of being, to one of a traditional native way-of-being.

Our mandate is to approach every native individual in Canada and work with each individual to begin the process of individual self-determination. Mother Earths Council is providing a BLUEPRINT that will enable every native person to layout and begin  a positive enjoyable path to SELF-DETERMINATION.

​

We will bring together our people and as concerned native people, will begin the process to heal ourselves.

 

The following two presentations will explain how you can become involved where the BLUEPRINT will show you the proposed road and the other relays the SELF-DETERMINATION model on traditional way-of-being.
